1. Take a minute to enter your student’s reading minutes:
We are excited to see how many hours these students have been reading!
2. 9/28 & 9/29 Email Campaign Ends Today:
- When students send out at least 10 they will earn a Squishy Emoji Keychain! (Must be done by noon on 9/28 & 9/29 on the Read4Funds Website)
- The 3 classes with the most emails sent/student will earn a facemask decorating party and lunch with the Principal!!
3. 9/30 & 10/1 Reading/Spirit Shirt Day:
Students and staff will wear their provided Spirit Shirts and will get to read in class today! They will bring home cards listing their minutes read today to enter online.
4. 10/2/2020 Early Bird Donations Due for Prizes: Students with at least $50 in online donations will earn prizes!
- $50 = Giant Pixie Stick, $100 = Yardstick of Gum (Not cumulative)
- Classes that reach $20 Average/Student earn a Pig in the Pig Race. The winning Pig earns Drawstring backpack for class!
5. Don’t forget to check out the Read4Funds website for some great tools!
- Online minutes tracking! Students, parents or teachers will log reading minutes online. No keeping track or turning in paper. Classroom and school thermometers show how many minutes your students are reading!
- Simple online giving for friends, family and other donors! Due to Covid restrictions (cash handling and no volunteers in the school) we are asking for all donations to be made online. Given this request, if you still have to send a check or cash, it must be turned in by your student by 10/7 & 10/8. Please make checks out to SHE PTO.
- Students or parents can send out emails to potential donors directly through the website! Personalize the pre-loaded email message on the “Family Resources” tab to let everyone know how to sponsor your student! Students will be sending out emails during Spirit week.
- Parents can check students’ donations easily on the “Check my student donations” tab
- Use the password hawk20 and then follow directions on the following page to see posted donations for your student(s)
- Goal tracking thermometers in real time for school and classrooms!
